Why we exist
The industry solved talking. The unsolved problem is working.
A great deal of effort has gone into making machines that can converse. Comparatively little has gone into making them dependable when they act.
We think that gap — the space between a capable model and an accountable outcome — is where the next durable businesses get built. That is the layer we work on.
How we work
Six commitments that shape what we build.
Evidence, not assertions
Work should end in a record that can be inspected, not in a statement that it went well.
Authority is explicit
Consequential actions stop for human approval. An executor cannot perform what it was not granted, and a conversational agent may assert an outcome only after an authorised action actually succeeded.
We label what is finished
Every product on this site carries its real stage. A roadmap item is never presented as something you can use today.
Build for replacement
Models, providers and vendors change on short notice. We design so that they can be replaced without rewriting the system that depends on them.
We do not claim the commodity
Approval gating and tracing on their own are becoming standard. We do not present them as the moat. The accountable outcome layer — and the tested integration of many hard parts — is what we are building.
Sequenced, not scattered
We build our products in sequence rather than in parallel. That is a deliberate choice about where to spend effort, not a constraint.
Conviction
Decisions that matter stop for a person.
Consequential actions do not proceed without explicit owner approval — approval tied to the exact command it authorises, and single-use. A system that pauses is doing its job; a system that assumes is not.
That is the relationship we want between people and this technology. The execution is governed. The judgement stays human.

Founder & Chief Executive
Gerald's background is engineering, operations and asset maintenance in utilities — environments where coordination and proof matter considerably more than intelligence does.
He established the architecture and operating principles behind Lihok Intelligence, and built a live production front-office deployment for a real business on a platform built to those principles.
How we are different
Different approaches, and where each one leaves a gap.
These are broad categories rather than products, and most organisations end up using more than one. We have tried to describe what each is genuinely good at before saying anything about ourselves.
General AI assistants
Good at
Conversation, writing, research and general assistance. They are genuinely useful, improving quickly, and often the right tool for the job.
Where it can leave a gap
They are usually built to be general rather than to run one industry's workflow, and they do not normally carry that business's permissions or perform its specific operational actions. Those have to be assembled around the assistant.
Traditional business software
Good at
Mature, structured workflows with predictable and auditable processes. Established platforms have depth, breadth and a long deployment history.
Where it can leave a gap
Intelligence is often a separate layer added later, or bounded by what the product was originally designed to do — so the reasoning and the record of it live outside the workflow they belong to.
Single-purpose AI tools
Good at
Solving one narrow problem quickly, and often cheaply.
Where it can leave a gap
Used across a business, several disconnected tools can accumulate, and what each one learns about the organisation does not carry across to the others.

What we do
Products built for one job each, drawing on a single governed intelligence foundation with consequential actions stopping for human approval and a record kept of what was done. Because the foundation is built once, the next product starts from what the previous one already solved.
Where we are behind
We are early, and we would rather you weigh that now than discover it later. One product is in production; the other nine are not available to use. The ecosystem is small and we cannot offer the deployment history an established platform can.
What we think we are good at
One foundation, reused
Governed intelligence, the authority model and the evidence machinery are built once and shared, so each product supplies its own domain rather than rebuilding the hard parts.
Actions that stop for a person
Consequential actions require owner approval, fingerprinted to the exact command and single-use. The judgement stays human.
Work that ends in evidence
A mission ends in a record that can be inspected, not in a statement that it went well.
Something is actually running
Lihok Frontline is live in production today, with a public site engine, an enquiry service and tenant administration.
What we are not, yet
We are early
One product is in production. Atiman and Ayoha are in development, and Lihok Tactica and Lihok Vault are in progress. Lihok Media, Lihok Coach, Lihok Academy, Lihok Traveller and Lihok Preloved Bags Marketplace are planned. You cannot use nine of the ten today.
The ecosystem is small
Ten products, one of them live, and five of the ten not yet built. We do not have the breadth of an established enterprise platform, and if you need that breadth today, that is a fair reason to choose one.
Tactica's intelligence does not run yet
The scheduling foundation exists. Embedding Lihok Intelligence in the schedule domain is direction, not implementation, and no operational intelligence runs inside Tactica today.
Some of this is planned work
We label what is unfinished rather than letting a clean layout imply it is ready. Read the maturity badge, not the design.
A short public track record
Lihok is a new company. We cannot offer the deployment history or the reference base that a platform with years behind it can.
We are not claiming to be better at everything. A general assistant may be the right tool for your problem, and an established platform may be the right one for your scale. What we are claiming is narrower, and we would rather it were checkable: the products are built for specific work, the intelligence is shared, and consequential actions stop for a person.
