Atiman

Operator-driven maintenance. The operator closest to the equipment is the one who notices a developing problem first — Atiman gives them governed knowledge to understand it, and to act before it becomes a failure.

In development

Frontline operators first — the people closest to the equipment — then the supervisors and reliability engineers who support them, at asset-intensive operators.

In plain terms

Software for looking after machines and equipment. It helps the person standing closest to a machine notice a problem early, and gives them what they need to understand it and decide what to do — before it turns into a breakdown. This product is still being developed.

Shared foundation

Atiman · In development

Designed to draw on Lihok Intelligence

Designed to draw on knowledge and reasoning capabilities — asset and domain knowledge, finding analysis and decision assistance for the operator closest to the equipment. Atiman is in development and is not offered for general use yet.

  • Reasoning

This is architecture rather than a delivered integration. What a product may actually draw on is decided per request — by the product, the organisation, the person, their permissions and the governance in force — and by what has been built.

How the shared layer works

An Asset Operations and Intelligence Platform for physical asset maintenance.

The person next to the machine notices first.

The person standing next to the machine usually notices a change before any system does — a new noise, a temperature, a leak. Acting on it needs knowledge that is scattered: what normal looks like, what to check, what is safe to correct. All too often the observation is noted and then lost, and the problem is only dealt with once it has become a failure.

Detect early. Correct early. Act before failure.

How Atiman supports operator-driven maintenanceThe same story vertically. At the equipment, an operator inspects and notices an early condition change. Governed knowledge guides the assessment. The operator then acts early: correcting within scope, monitoring the condition, or escalating beyond scope to an enterprise EAM block on the side. Correcting and monitoring control the problem before it becomes a failure. Everything becomes evidence that improves future assessment.AT THE EQUIPMENTinspectsEquipmentOperatorEarly condition changeGoverned knowledgeFinding & assessmentCorrect earlywithin operatorscopeMonitorkeep watchingthe conditionEscalatebeyondoperatorscopeEnterprise EAMplanning, scheduling, work executionProblem controlled earlybefore it becomes a failureEvidence & historyimproves future assessmentinforms next assessment

  • Governed knowledge
  • Escalation
The operator closest to the equipment is the one who notices a developing problem first. Governed knowledge is what turns that observation into an approved, repeatable action — what normal looks like, what to check, what is safe to correct. So a small problem can be corrected early, a condition that needs watching can be monitored, and only what is beyond operator scope is escalated. Formal planning and technician work execution stay with the enterprise EAM systems, which remain the systems of record. Atiman is in development.

Working alongside, not instead of

Atiman does not replace SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Infor EAM or Oracle EAM. Formal planning, scheduling and technician work execution stay with those systems, which remain the systems of record. Atiman escalates to them rather than replacing them.
